He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Gibson (Melinda) of Owensville, Betty Spurgeon of Cuba, Shannon Ramsey (Dan) of Pendleton and Burdette Lee of Washington; and his half-sister Vera Alpine of Simi Valley, Cal.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
