He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Scherer; his parents, Anne Scherer and George F. Scherer, II; his children, Bethany Daniels (Matthew) and Chris Scherer (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aiden Christopher, Evangeline Michelle and Annabella Rose; and his siblings, Gary Scherer, Steven W. Scherer (Mary) and Deborah Scherer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.
Memorials may be made in George's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
