He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lowe and Nadine Hope Lowe (Lane); his brothers-in-law, Brian Runde and Tom King; his sister Phyllis Pepper; and his sons, John and Thomas Fuerst.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Rose Donelson; his children, Donald Fuerst (Debbie) of Blue Springs, Joseph Fuerst (Sheryl) of Houma, Vicki Lowe of Kansas City and David Lowe of Kansas City; his daughter-in-law Denise Fuerst of Harrisonville; and his siblings, Roger Lowe (Debbie) of Buckner, Marilyn King of Lee's Summit, Beverly Linney of Liberty and Pamela Runde of Johnston, Iowa. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
