She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Scheel and Doris Scheel (Sewell); her stepmother Lena Scheel; her husband Elmer Michel; her sons, Bryan and Roger Michel; her brother Dick Scheel; and her sister-in-law Maxine Scheel.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kim Michel of Columbia; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Koepke of Owensville and Pat Michel of Bland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
