She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mack and Eda Lockhart Jenkins; her husband Henry M. McCarter, Jr.; and her siblings, Berdell Duncan Bruckerhoff, Evelyn Johns Williams, Phyllis L. Smith, Edward Jenkins (Red), Kenneth Ray Jenkins, William Royd Jenkins, James Ross Jenkins and Betty Jean Jenkins.
She is survived by: her former husband James Oliver Crider; her siblings, Ruth Carwile of Owensville, Janna Jenkins of Columbia and Clarence R. Jenkins of Jefferson City; her siblings-in-law, Orlin Smith of Kansas, Doris Jenkins of Owensville, Margaret Jenkins (Peggy) of Alabama and Dorothy Hampton (Wade Hampton, Jr.) of North Carolina; and her close friend Linda Cook of North Carolina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
