She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert H. Schmidt and Mabel C. Schmidt (Meyer); her husbands, Marvin Griffin and Ardel Ackmann; her daughter Cynthia Mills; and her brothers, Herb and Harold Schmidt.
She is survived by: her son Robin Griffin (Sherry Emch) of Rosebud; her stepchildren, Norma Wood (Greg) of Florence, Oregon and Alyn Ackmann of Rosebud; her grandchildren, Nicole Branscum (Kenny), Jason Mills (Emily), Olivia Cordray (Ethan), Dixie Andrews (Jack) and Heidi Griffin; and her stepgrandchildren, Alison Wood, Christa Harvey (Jake) and Robbie Wood. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home (108 S 2nd St, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Redeeming Grace Presbyterian (PCA) building fund in lieu of flowers.
