With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie L. Grotegeers (Overland, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 15, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gillering and Anna Gillering; her husband Eugene B. Grotegeers; her son Gregory Grotegeers; and also, Sophie Anderson and Lillian Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Grotegeers (Carol), Glenn Grotegeers (Kathy), JoAnn Grotegeers, Jean Sowa (late Jack), Gerard Grotegeers (Cathy), Gary Grotegeers and Janet Lubinski (Joe); her daughter-in-law Maria Grotegeers; her grandchildren, Renee, Kathleen, Glenn Jr., Ann Marie, Michelle, Gina, Matthew, Lauren, Joseph, Christine and Jade; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Samantha, Ayla and Jamisen; her great great grandchildren, Layla, Aubrey and Roman; her nephew Robert Dierker; her niece Margie Fister; and also Joann Horne.
