It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleo Joy Owens of Overland, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her spouse Glenn; her son David Owens, MD (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Ted Owens (Lori), Olathe, Carlye Owens, Orlando, Brent Owens (Brianna) and Marlisa Rader (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Isabella Owens, Maclin and Oakley Rader.
Sadly, Joy was admitted to memory care in the last few months of her life where she contracted Covid-19.
She cared for Glenn in the home until he died of Alzheimer's in 2014.
