He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Lu (Nelson); his brother Glen Lee "Red" Young; and his close friend Elsie Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Rob Young (Lisa) of Sedalia, David Young (Karen) of Warrensburg and Aletha Odneal (Danny Green) of Boonville; and his grandchildren, Candy, Brian, Dusty, Jillian, Rachel, Lacie, Michael, Amie, Travis, Mallory, Christopher and Brooke. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
