He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Potter and Lela Potter (Chancey); his wife Dian M. (Aldrich); and his siblings, Steve Potter Jr., John Potter, William Potter and Caroline Ingram.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Potter (Kimberly) of Eudora, KS and Kelly Potter (Billie) of Otterville.
