Cynthia Ann Woods Obituary

Cynthia Ann Woods, 62, of Otterville, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 6, 1958 in Jefferson City; a daughter of the late Jack and Irene (Brandenburg) Jinson. She was united in marriage to Stanley Woods, January 16, 1988, in Centertown. Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was an excellent cook, enjoyed playing cards, and video games. Her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed spending her days with them. She always put her family first and they will greatly miss her presence in their lives. She is survived by her husband of 32 years: Stanley Woods; children: Stanley Wayne Woods, Crystal Hill, Jackie Farris (Wayne), Preston Farris (Samantha), Melissa Woods, Jason Woods (Sammy) and Timothy Farris; sister: Linda Evers; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her sisters: Myrtle Mayfield and Diane Wheeler. Family and Friends will be received on July 10, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., with Celebration of Life to follow at 11:30 at Bible Way Church, 220 17th St., Eldon, Missouri 65026. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that expressions of sympathy be made the Family of Cynthia Woods.
