It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Shelby (Osceola, Missouri), who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Shelby and Bonnie Shelby (Creek); his wife Barbara Murray; and his brother Jack Shelby. He is survived by: his children, Beth Vaughn and Larry Shelby (Rhonda); his siblings, Janelle Nelson and Jerry Shelby; his grandchildren, Jamie Koch (Jon), Lieutenant Colonel Brad Vaughn (Tauna), Austin Shelby (Rachael) and Weston Shelby (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Thane Sommer (Wacey), Rylan Sommer, Camden Sommer (Kizzie), Ashton Koch, Mason Koch, Tessa Roberts, Addison Roberts, Scarlet Elizabeth Vaughn, Hadley, Oaklynn, Kord, Karson and Kora Shelby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Osceola Elementary School Playground for equipment upgrades in care of the Sheldon Goodrich Funeral Home.
