He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Long (Short) and Maude Ledbetter Long; his brother Jim Long (Jenny); his nieces and nephews, Dan Long (Lynn), Michael Long (Pam), Beth Garrison (Monty), Terry Long (Jennifer), Tim Long (Cindy), Kim McMillan (Allan), Lynn Artz (Larry), Tim Moffatt and Lizzie Gingerich; his wives, Beverly Long and Betty Ray Long; and his son Jon David. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lord's Chapel and Kidd's Chapel for maintenance, in care of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home.
