He was predeceased by: his parents, Justine Kerfoot and Bill Kerfoot; and his son David Kerfoot. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kerfoot; his sister Pat Shoffner; and his children, Brian Kerfoot (Lisa), Shawn Kerfoot (Bob), Robert Kerfoot (Miranda) and Lee Kerfoot (Eva). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a charitable donation be sent to the Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center (Grand Marais, MN) in his name.
