He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. W. Hadley Hoyt Jr. and Helen Carver Hoyt; and his sister Mary Junia McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Anita Hoyt (Gatlin) of Unionville, MO.; his children, Dr. Will Hoyt IV (Autumn Clark) of Springfield, MO and Tiffany Tinson (Jim) of Bronxville, NY; his grandchildren, Cara, William, Max Tinson and Monica Ann; his sister Martha Emerson of Portland, ME; his siblings-in-law, Ted Gatlin (Linda) of Unionville, MO and Georgann Chandler of Kirksville, MO; and his nephews, Randy Clark, Chad Gatlin (Beth), Shane Gatlin (Katrina), Thomas McCoy (Kathy) and Jared Emerson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to Lake Regional Hospice.
