He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Abney and Georgia Abney; and his sister Victoria Abney. He is survived by: his stepson Steve; his wife Liz; his daughter Christina Bahe (Dwayne); his granddaughter Camryn; his daughter Amanda Thompson (Tony); his grandchildren, Nolan, Maren and Layla of Elkhart, Iowa; and his sisters, Cecilia "Sis" Staffey (Phillip) of Saint Charles, Illinois and Patricia "Patt" Tesinsky of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; as well as many friends.
