He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Merli and Irene Merli (Toth). He is survived by: his significant other Betty Louis (Connell); his sons, John Merli (Laurie) and Larry Merli (Lori); his brother David Merli; and his friend Harry Diehl. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
