He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendel Turner and Marie Turner; his sister Judy Pickard; and his grandparents, Ralph and Mabel McKinnie.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay; his daughter Rhonda Frankes (Turner); his grandsons, Brady Frakes and Tyler Frakes; his sisters, Shirley Turner Meade, Carolyn Krause (Paul) and Vickie Black (Garland); and his pet Frank. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces.
