She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Brandt and Lily Brandt (Lampe); her husband Elmer Otto; her grandson Shaun Otto; her siblings, Lorene Milius, Milton Brandt and Ernest Brandt; and her daughter-in-law Mary Otto.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Otto (Virginia) of Lake and Steve Otto of Washington; her grandson Tony Otto (Jennifer); her granddaughter-in-law Kari Otto; her great grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Aaron, Grace and Rebekah Otto; and her great great grandchildren, Atlas, Sophia, Adilade, Archer, Judd, Bishop and Hadley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Denver (641 Lincoln St, Denver, IA 50622). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery-Klinger.
