With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Gene Welch (Osage Beach, Missouri), born in Lebanon, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Arnold Welch and Winna Mae Welch (Medley); his wife Maggie Schaffer; and his cousin Beverly Willard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
From his classmates carrying him up and down the stairs at school, to the donations of food and care taking in his leaner years, Don believed the people in the lake area had been kind to him.
