It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David O. Spires of Osage Beach, Missouri, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Spires and Ethel Spires (Elam); and his sister Jean Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Delores Spires; his daughters, Dena Lea Spires Dittman (James) of Osage Beach and Sonya Lynn Spires Simpson (George) of Mexico, Missouri; his grandson Jacob Sebren (Kristyn) of Laurie, Missouri; and his sister Evelyn Wessels (John) of Dixon, Illinois. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
