He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Barbara Butler (Kuntz); and his siblings, Mary Ann Cothren, Susan Dryer and John "Butch" Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Butler (Stephanie) of Odessa, MO, Chris Butler (Jessica) of Lake Ozark, MO., Stacy Mayer (Alex) of Crystal Lakes, MO, Brittany Nolan (Ben) of Lansing, KS and Tiffany Kaufman (Tucker) of Leavenworth, KS.; and his brothers, Steve Butler (Bonnie) of Mesa, AZ and Richard Butler (Linda).
