She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Sparks and Francis Browning Sparks; her husband John O. Hoover; and her brother-in-law George Peak. She is survived by: her children, Roger Hoover of Osage Beach, MO, Ed Hoover (Sonnie) of Winchester, IL and Kathy Sheldon (Tom) of Mandeville, LA; her grandchildren, Brittany MacMaster (Kenny), Alison Lee (Scott), Sean Hunter (Kalyn), Kobie Hoover, Dante Hoover and Adam Hoover; her great grandchildren, Mason MacMaster, Hunter MacMaster, Lilly Lee, Harrison Lee, Valie Hunter and Jordyn Hunter; and her sisters, Sue Riggs (Jim) of Winchester, IL and Jean Peak of Winchester, IL..
