He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Battagler and Nettie Battagler (Hessenflow); his wife Rosemary Mills; his son Robert Donald; and his siblings, Wilbur Battagler, Fred Battagler, Howard Battagler, C. W. Battagler, Robert Battagler and Mae Magdeline Hill.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Alan Battagler, Gary Battagler of Orrick, Kurt Hill of Norwalk, Calif, Donnie Battagler of Claycomo, Joyce Battagler, Karen Koerner of Orrick and Carolyn Sims of Mulvane, Kans.; and his sister-in-law Nadine Battagler of Orrick.
