He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy William Hicks and Euna May Hicks (Maxwell); and his brothers, Neil, Noel, Wesley and Nail.
He is survived by: his former spouse Gearldean Johnson; his spouse Gearldean Hicks; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Ryker, Maverek, Natasha and Summit; his siblings, Hershel Hicks of Denver, Colo, Eddie Hicks of Jonesboro, Waymon Hicks of Bay, Ark., Anges House of Orrick, Alice Alsup of Orrick and Betty St; his adoptive children, Jeff and Laura McElwee of Orrick; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Kierstin, Mikey and Joey McElwee of Orrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
