He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Ritter and Elmyra Ritter (Christopher); his wife Joan S. "Jody" Sirett Fann of Independence; his grandson David Ryan Ritter; and his siblings, Clarence Ritter, James Ritter and Viva Ziesch.
He is survived by: his children, Allan Fann (Sandra) of Fort Worth, TX, Chuck Fann (Sandy) of Hutchinson, KS, Joanne Helms (Danny) of Tipton, John Ritter (Nancy) of Richmond, Brian Ritter (Rhonda) of Orrick and Steve Ritter (Johnna) of Excelsior Springs; his grandchildren, Bo Helms (Shanna), Jamie Hurtgen (Mike), Drew Helms, Matthew Fann, David Fann (Naomi), Patrick Fann, Shannon Lindberg (Adam), Kevin Fann (Kristina), Christina McClure (Brett), Danielle Ritter and Steven Ritter; and his siblings, Robert Ritter, Wilbur Ritter, Carl Ritter and Zelma Cranfield. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
