He was predeceased by: his father Arch Ellis King. He is survived by: his wife Linda Louise Schreier of Orrick; his mother Margaret "Ann" King (Claypole) of Orrick; his sons, James Michael King of Liberty and Timothy Arch King of Richmond; his grandsons, Hunter James King and Aiden Michael King; and his brothers, Michael Arch King (Sheryl) of Orrick, Larry Lee King (Inga) of Orrick, Terry Kurtis King of Orrick and Floyd Kent King of Orrick.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Orrick Christian Church.
