She was predeceased by: her parents, Avil Jacob and Betty Marie Heitman (Farris); and her brothers, Pat Heitman and Daniel Jacob Heitman. She is survived by: her husband Norman "Norm" Ellis of Orrick; her daughters, Amy J. Hershberger (Chris) of Parkville and Michelle Craig of Orrick; her grandchildren, Spencer Chillis, Olivia Hershberger, Kaitlyn Rowan, Chloe Craig, Layne Craig and Landon Craig; and her siblings, Orville "Gene" Heitman of Lexington, Michael Heitman of Orrick and Alesia Sullard (Mark) of Richmond.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
