He was predeceased by: his parents, Derwood Horace Schjoll and Elaine Juliet Schjoll (Jardet); his daughter Denise Schjoll; and his brothers, Mike Schjoll and Wayne Schjoll.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Christina Smith; his children, Lori Schulze (Greg) of Indianapolis, Virginia Foote of Richmond and David Schjoll, Jr. of Indianapolis, Ind.; and his siblings, Richard Schjoll of Madras, Art Schjoll of Pineville, Oreg. and Sharon Newberg of Fairfield, Conn.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
