He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Orval, Ola Nelson, Bobby and Delores Simon. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Simon and Lydia Simon (Nelson) of Oronogo; his children, Camryn Simon of Joplin, Emelyn of Joplin and Ellise Simon of Joplin; his brother Michael Simon (Heather) of Alba, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Michael and Hayilie Simon. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can by made to the American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
