It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean (Oregon, Missouri), who passed away on August 14, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Pennel and Mildred Pennel (King); her husband Gerald Cain; her sister Elizabeth Jo Dunnihoo; her son Gerald Cain, Jr.; and her grandson Steven Stewart.
She is survived by: her brothers, Berres Pennel (Lucille) of Hiawatha and K. Roger Pennel of Fairfax, Missouri; her brother-in-law Dick Dunnihoo of Madrid, Iowa; her daughters, Candy Jebavy (Robert) of Decatur and Susan Bourgeois (Steve) of Waco, Texas; her daughter-in-law Doris Cain of Florida; her grandchildren, Carrie Smith (Kevin), Kristi Stewart, Elizabeth Mackey, Becca Tuley (Ryan), Amanda Bourgeois, Mark Bourgeois and Steve Bourgeois, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Bree Neal, Aiden, Tristan Smith, Joseph, Franklin and Steven Thomas Mackey.
