She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Snapp and Emma Snapp (Moser); her husband Theodore Francis Hickman; her stepson Paul Schaeffer; and her siblings, Clarence, Wanita Snapp, Gene, Ralph Snapp, Berniece McKillip, Katherine Bauman, Jackie Lawrie and Latona "Tony" L. Shelton.
She is survived by: her former spouse Russell A. Schaeffer; her daughter Jackie Kunkel (Ronnie); her stepdaughter Carol Smith of Washington; her siblings, Jessie Joe Snapp (Norma) of St. Joseph, Missouri and Edna Golden (Roy) of Gladstone, Missouri; her sister-in-law Carol Snapp of Michigan; and her grandsons, Kelly (Michelle), Scott (Caroline), Greg (Rexann) and Nathan (Sheila). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
