He was predeceased by: his former wife Mona Dreher; his brothers, Edward "Ed" and Max Kurtz; his stepchildren, John M. Parker and Jean Masters; and his stepgrandson Logan Parker.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth M. Tetherow; his wife Evelyn Doebbeling; his stepdaughter Debbie Masters; and his stepgrandchildren, Nova, Andrea, Mathew, Jacob and Shanon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, their spouses and children; and loads of friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Oregon Care Center Activity Fund or to the Maple Grove Cemetery Association.
