She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Prewitt; her parents, Merritt Harrell and Lillian Harrell; her son Gary Prewitt; her brothers, Ernest, Norman and Truman Harrell; and her granddaughter Sarah Prewitt.

She is survived by: her son Larry (Janice) of Wildwood, Missouri; her sister Audrey Emery of Arnold, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Jo Beth Anderson (Larry) of Thayer, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tammy Prewitt of Wildwood, Brian Prewitt (Elizabeth) of Rolling Meadows, Kevin Prewitt (Lindsey) of Shawnee and John Prewitt (Maggie) of St. Peters, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Ansley Nicholson, Lillian, Larry, Sarah, Penelope, Scarlett and Remington Prewitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
