He is survived by: his parents, Bob Joe Montgomery and Dorothy Louise Shuffit-Montgomery; his sons, Christian Montgomery and Colin Montgomery; his brother Michael Montgomery (Mary); and his uncle Dale Shuffit.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Morley Cemetery (324 Kirkwood St, Oran, MO 63771).
