With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donnie May Sanders of Oran, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walter Luke and Edith Leoria Luke (Durrow); her husband Henry Willard Sanders; her siblings, Charles Jr., Lynn Ray, Linda Kay and Wilma; and her son-in-law Bill Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, David Sanders of Poplar Bluff, Mary Cunningham of Colby, KS, Sharon Smith (Michael Smith) of Sikeston, Paul Sanders (Teresa) of Fairdealing and Janet Fite (Mike) of Monticello, IN; her grandchildren, Daniel, Steven, Cody, Desiree, Charity, Hannah, Candise, Joshua, Christopher, Andrew, Alex, Rusty and Carmen; and her sisters, Betty, Evelyn and Carolyn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (114 State St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63967). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:15 PM at the Duncan Cemetery.
