He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley E. Michelsen and Faye Michelsen (Bacchus); and his siblings, Lloyd Michelsen, Velma Thompson (Matthews) and Betty Thele.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Grojean (Chris) of New Hamburg, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tara Modglin (Justin) of Scott City and Lindsey Grojean (Landon) of St. Louis, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Carter and Maggie Modglin of Scott City; and his sisters, Bonnie Dover of Cape Girardeau and Sharon London (Mike) of Baldwin, Illinois. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations may be made to Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
