He was predeceased by: his parents, Lam Huynh and Hao Tu. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie and Stephanie; and his children-in-law, Christi and Rudy. He is also survived by several siblings, nephews, and nieces.

Donations may be given to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the St. Louis Peregrine Society in Tuong's memory.
