She was predeceased by: her former spouse Bernerd A. Schermer; her child Jan Guffey (Randy); and her brothers, Dr. Leonard Kent (late Irene) and Kenneth Kent (Estelle). She is survived by: her daughter Joy Cole; her grandchildren, Erin Merrill (Robbie), Sierra McCord (Joe), Natalie Powell, Felicia Winstead, Billie Powell, Adeena, Matthew and Eleanor Cole; her great grandchildren, Maeve, Kyle, Haley, Owen, Brennan and Ryker; and her husband Bernie.
