Sylvia Gidlow Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 106, Sylvia Gidlow (Olivette, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar J Gidlow; her son James Gidlow (Kathleen); her siblings-in-law, Selma and Elmer Gidlow; and her sister Lillian (Nathan Altman).

She is survived by: her children, Robert Gidlow (late Laurie) and Jane Gidlow LeMaster; her grandchildren, Scott Gidlow, Dr. Brooke Gidlow Kraushaar, Hillary Levy (Craig), Mindy Rudisill (Greg) and Katie Darken (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Jake, Daphne Kraushaar, Allison, Suzanne Levy, Sophia, Andon Chernow, Siena Rudisill and Bodhi James Darken. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and had the honor of being "mom".

A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the United Hebrew Cemetery (7855 Canton Ave, University City, MO 63130).
