She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Silverstein and Sophie Silverstein; and her husband Bud Berman. She is survived by: her children, Lorry Cioffi (Fred), Burt Berman (Jane) and Bruce Berman (Lea Russo Berman); her grandchildren, Josh Halloway (Sarah Geismer), Mayme (Jacob Brenner), Nora Berman, Lucas, Lily and Booker Berman; and her great grandchild Hannah Geismer Halloway.
She interviewed many survivors for the Shoah Foundation.
