She was predeceased by: her children, Michael Sarnoff and Linda Sarnoff; and her sister Rosalie Korte. She is survived by: her husband Gary Heifetz; her stepsons, Stephen Heifetz and Douglas Heifetz; and her nephew Alan Katzen (Mitzi). She is also survived by wives and children.

Contributions in Phyllis's memory may be made to Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region or the Humane Society of Missouri.
