She is survived by: her children, Richard Rubenstein (Cindy) and Thomas Rubenstein (Suzanne); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Rubenstein (Nia), Jordan Rubenstein (Alysia), Julia Saunders (Peter), Angela Cook (JD), Kristina Hampton (Tyler), Tracie Rubenstein and Amelia Rubenstein. She is also survived by her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the Rubenstein's request that donations be made to The National Psoriasis Foundation.
