She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Kusman; her parents, Irwin Solar and Rosalie Solar; and her sister Barbara Gershon (late Stanley). She is survived by: her children, William Kusman (Michelle) and Michelle Karabas (Bill); her grandchildren, Michael Trager-Kusman (Erin), Andrew Trager-Kusman (Helene), Brett Trager, Dr. Rachel Karabas (Clint), Alec Kusman (Michelle), Amy Karabas and Isabelle Kusman; her great grandchildren, Asher, Hawk, Harper and Graham; and her siblings-in-law, Stanley Kusmin (late Arlene) and Vicky Kaufman (late Stanley).
