He is survived by: his spouse Ethel Newman; his children-in-law, Beverly Spector (late Carl), Deborah Schneider (Stuart) and Marci; his grandchildren, Amanda Starwalt (Joshua), Jeffrey Spector (Rachel), Jessica Schwartzman (Mitchel), Abby Schneider, Emily Fenton (Colton) and Jordan Fendelman; and his brother Victor Newman (Ethel). He is also survived by uncle, cousin and friend.
