He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverly Novak; his children, Neil Novak (Tammy), Lynn Busekrus (David) and Jennifer Novak (Donovan Smith); his grandchildren, Michael Novak (Marina Dantas), David Knight (Amber), Christie Schmieder (Rob), Sherrie Beck (Elliott), Elizabeth Blackmon (Jonathan), Justin Busekrus (Lindsay), Samantha Busekrus (Lauren Mercado), Sydney Busekrus (Angela), Seattle Smith and Sage Smith; and his sister Rosella Hilch (late Norman).
