Joel Harry Allen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Harry Allen (Olivette, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Allen and Pauline Allen; his sibling-in-law Byron Allen; his parent-in-law Shirley; his nephew Brian; and his cousins, Marcia Sterneck, Morris and Milton.

He is survived by: his sibling-in-law Honoré Allen; his parent-in-law Benton Taylor; his wife Susan T. Allen; his children, Todd Taylor (Judy), Debbie Colby (Doug) and Stuart Imber (Melanie); his stepgrandchildren, Danielle, David and Jason Colby; his stepsons, Doug Carafiol (Michelle) and Dennis Carafiol (Laura); his nieces and nephews, Richard Allen (Cathy), Matt (Jennifer), Jessie Allen, Lew Allen (late Monique), Jasper, Jason, Tim Allen, Curt Allen (late Stephanie), Jordan, Jake and Gabrielle Allen; and his cousins, Lou, Evelyn Cohen (Allen), Emily (Cohen), Rob Rosenfeld, Andy Cohen, Stanley, Judy Allen, Josh Allen (Melissa), Jodi (Allen), Rick Gordon, Linda Yawitz (Seltzer), Rosalie Sterneck and Jeanne Zorensky. He is also survived by nieces/nephews, cousins and friends.
