He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charline Baizer (Dick) and Jack Circle (Beverly); and his parents, Sam Bader and Mary Bader. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Terry Bader (Kathy) and Kathy Fehrnstrom (Eric); his grandsons, Samuel Bader (Hallie Miller), Jeffrey Bader (Natalie), Bryan Fehrnstrom and Jason Fehrnstrom; and his brother-in-law Leonard Goltzman (Karen).
