He was predeceased by: his wife Marsha Sue Paster; his parents, Nathan Heligman and Anna Schevack; and his siblings, Martin Heligman and Florine Kay.

He is survived by: his children, Jodi Flieger, Jamee Heligman and Mark Heligman; his daughter-in-law Kimberlie Heligman; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Grace and Will.
