He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Cassel (Fishkop); his parents, Paul Cassel and Bertha Cassel (Steinberg); his parents-in-law, Harry and Fraudel Fishkop; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Stein (late Harry) and Joseph Cassel (late Anita).
He is survived by: his children, Merle (Norman), Wettberg, Douglas M. Cassel (Joyce) and Randee L. Cassel (Seth Chernick). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great children and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
